Background
I have worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist since 1994 and have experience of treating the full range of psychiatric disorders which affect adults of working age, including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, PTSD and other stress related disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder and somatoform disorders.
I provide diagnostic assessment and advice on management, education for patients and their families regarding their problem and treatment. I offer follow up appointments and supervision of, or advice on, pharmacotherapy.

The following information will help improve the quality of the assessment.
- Details of current problem.
- Past history of psychiatric disorder.
- Current and previous treatments and response to these.
- History of physical health problems.
- List of all currently prescribed medication.
- Any known allergies.
- Other relevant history – legal problems, life events, family history.
- Any other professionals currently involved in the patient’s care.
